Ghost Error e7c3000f

If you receive the e7c3000f error when attempting to write a ghost image using Symantec Ghost, try the following:

- Using a Windows 98 (or equivalent) boot diskette, boot your PC into DOS

- run fdisk /mbr

CTRL-ALT-DEL to reboot your PC (remove diskette right away after rebooting)

Note

If you have remapped drives, the fdisk /mbr command may reset the drive mappings. If so, within Windows XP you’ll need to go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management. Right-mouse click on the drive that requires remapping and select “Change Drive Letter and Paths…”
